we have said that internet radio is under threat by this bill including us. Some people hae said they domnt beleave it because we stream well sorry to say ALL streaming services are in their sights.

On Tuesday January 12th, 2010 an earthquake, a magnitude of 7.0 devastates Haiti. We immediately knew that we had to reach to help all those in need. It has been wonderful to see the outpouring of love and donations for the relief of Haitians through various ways. This helped with the immediate need of basics like food water and some medical needs.

That said, we see a much bigger picture that needs to be addressed, the welfare of the children the homeless, the rehabilitation for those that lost limbs and the rebuilding of a nations infrastructure ie; hospitals schools roads and so on.

So we reached out to our brothers and sisters in the music community to help us with this cause. Within minutes of reaching out we started receiving music for our upcoming release “Songs for Haiti – Relief Through Music” the final outcome is 2 hours of music on a 2 CD set that will be available through many fine digital retailers. Many of the songs were written specifically for this release while other songs were unreleased track or song that were just donated to help raise money for Haiti.

Featuring more than 30 tracks by artists such as Katia Cadet a Grammy nominated song writer, IO Earth nominated for several 2010 Progressive Rock Awards as well as many fine national and independent musicians from around the world.

As i write his itis 14th of August the date in 1967 that the government tried to stop offshore radio. they did not succeed!!!!!!!!!!
Radio Caroline continued so to celebrate this fact we have 2 specials Mike Allen narrates the history of offshore radio at 3pm and Am and then at 8 AM/pm we play shows from the ship based RADIO ENGLAND recorded in 1966 guring the hay day of the offshore stations.
